Three years ago I had an idea to offer all of my knowledge to photographers just getting started in the wedding industry. Although my teaching days were long behind me, I felt a calling to put what I had learned as a decade long wedding photographer in front of others and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
I wish I could tell you this has been a hard process organizing each workshop BUT it hasn't! I have managed to secure some of the best and most creative vendors who share my passion and vision and seats to the workshops fill up almost immediately!
This was our third year to hold the Las Vegas workshop out at the dry lake bed AND I do not know how it's possible, but each year seems to be my favorite year! I challenged the attendees to shoot in harsh sun with pretty high winds and was so proud of the images they captured! Stepping out of your comfort zone is key to expanding your portfolio.
We even had a little surprise from our friend Danielle May who just so happened to be in Vegas as well attending another conference. She drove her vintage VW bus out to the dry lake bed and gave us the most adorable photo booth backdrop! It was a complete surprise to everyone who attended and some of my favorite images captured!
I can not wait until 2020 for the annual Vegas workshop! I love the time I get to spend with my Vegas creative friends, my team of sweet assistants and some of the best models and real couples in the world!
I could never thank my team of creatives enough and feel so super blessed that I get to work with them again for the upcoming workshops in 2019!
